5th Graders Learn from Author
Wednesday, October 17th, acclaimed author Christine Johnson visited Mr. Auslander’s fifth grade class at Allisonville Elementary School, her alma matter. She spoke about her personal experiences becoming a writer and about her process for writing. Then, she answered many of the children’s thoughtful questions. Best of all, she stayed for writer’s workshop, where she conferred with each student in the class! Christine’s visit inspired twenty six fifth grade students to become better writers!
