Learning Under The Sun-Itinerary2015

Each day will be packed with exciting, hands-on lessons where students will be building air rockets, working with duct tape, constructing electrical circuits, studying boot designs, participating in a fun community service project, hiking, playing drums and enjoying the “Strawberry Festival”.

The overnight trip is a fun action packed trip. The students will visit the South Bend Chocolate Factory, travel to Notre Dame for a tour, eat at the famous Notre Dame cafeteria and attend the South Bend Cubs minor league baseball game. We will travel to Indiana Wesleyan to spend the night in a dorm. We will eat breakfast in the cafeteria and participate in a Science demonstration on Friday morning, June 19th before returning to Nora Elementary at 12:00 p.m.

Transportation to all field experiences will be provided by LUS. Parent(s)/guardian(s) must provide daily transportation to the base location at Nora Elementary School, 1000 East 91st Street. All materials, equipment, and supplies are provided, as well as breakfast and lunch.
